It may only come around once in a career -- a lot of players never have one -- but Don Pavletich got one today. He scattered hits all over Ballpark of Snowflake to pace Clearwater to a 8-4 victory over Daytona.
The Daytona skipper told reporters in the press room, "Tip your hat to him. He hit some good pitches. According to the scouting report, Pavletich hit several that he is not supposed to hit."
D. Pavletich singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off J. Unknown in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off C. Locke in the 7th.
Batting .275 to date, Pavletich has 2 home runs and 8 RBIs. | | | | Team Information | | Record overall | 40-80, .333 PCT | | Position in Division | 8th, 36.0 GB | | Record at home | 23-37, .383 PCT | | Record on the road | 17-43, .283 PCT | | Record in X-inning games | 6-5, .545 PCT | | Record in one-run games | 18-17, .514 PCT | | Record versus LHP | 7-11, .389 PCT | | Record versus RHP | 33-69, .324 PCT | | Record last 10 games | 2-8, .200 PCT | | Record in April | 9-15, .375 PCT | | Record in May | 7-20, .259 PCT | | Record in June | 10-16, .385 PCT | | Record in July | 10-16, .385 PCT | | Record in August | 4-13, .235 PCT |
